In my old car (Chevy S0nic) I was going down a dirt road. It kept getting tighter, more muddys, deeper pot holes, pot holes turned into mud puddles. I guessed it was a road at some point in time. I should not have been taking an econobox down a trail met for jeeps, I’m still amazing how I did not get stuck.

I found this:

I did some farther research and found that it was a crash that happen in the mid 50's. It was at the bottom of a steep hill, I guessed the brakes failed and it went into the tree. I did see a straight 8 in it so I’m guessing some kind of Pontiac.

Later that same day, down a quiet “paved” I found some historical significance. It appeared to be taken care of.

Sometimes. Last time I did the dirt road turned into someone's driveway after a while with no trespassing signs everywhere and I got stuck trying to turn around, so I've been a little shy.

Serious or sarcasm???

It’s literally made to be little Latvia, they all speak Latvian there, they all wear traditional Latvian clothing for dances and social events, and do alllll these traditional Latvian thing. It’s hilarious, my ex’s dad was a doctor and had a great place on a lake but a trailer there because everyone besides those retired and who lived there full time had a trailer. Oh and apparently alcohol in extreme amounts at every age from too young to shockingly old is apparently a major Latvian tradition. They all name their kids with traditional Latvian names. Literally I don’t think there’s another foreign community in the US more attached to their “home land” than Latvian’s and this place, it’s nuts. It's a total trip, when she first told me about It I seriously thought she was joking, but nope... It's quite the place....

Once I took my 300ZX to a mechanic I knew for inspection. It was way out in the middle of nowhere. I tried to drive home by feel, got lost. Had no petrol. Couldn’t find a petrol station because middle of nowhere. It was hot as balls but I was scared to run the air conditioning due to the fuel situation. I was covered in sweat. My driver’s door skin had been removed which didn’t make me feel any better. I thought my car was broken.

It was just a horrible, upsetting day. I’ll never forget it.
